Our Accommodation

A group of traditional South Lakeland stone cottages, nestled in a peaceful position within the quaint Hamlet of Pennington. Surrounded by beautiful reservoirs and incredible 360-views of the encompassing scenery of the Lake District National Park, this cluster of cottages is perfect for a large group getaway, whether travelling as a family or friends seeking an action-packed adventure in this stupendous part of the country.

Fabulous week with our grown up children at the farmhouse.

The place is very clean and well looked after. The wine and chocolate was a great touch. The beds are very comfortable and the towels are soft. The farmhouse is in a beautiful setting with well kept grounds and the added bonus of friendly cats and dogs. It is in a great location, close to Windermere and Coniston and the coast. The town of Ulverston is a short car journey away with loads of places to eat and drink and a few good shops. Would definitely recommend this to family and friends.

A great way to spend our Dad’s 60th birthday have loved every second (even the windy days).

The hot tub was a favourite with us all, especially my 3 year old-Jimmy! We Love the Lakes!

Absolutely loved our short stay here, so much so we’re already planning on a return trip in 2023 Everything you could need to make it feel like your own home.

It is so clean you’d think you were the first people to stay there Lovely touches with Christmas decorations and absolutely no light pollution at night, sit and see the stars in the night sky.

Absolutely loved this property and was perfect for us (8 adults, 1 infant) to be together and celebrate a family members 30th birthday.

Amazing property, gorgeous views, lush hot tub, really really great for family get togethers. Ulverston town was a lovely little place to visit & we particularly loved that this cottage was good for visiting the Lake District but also a few coastal towns.
